September 2016.
In Language, we are busy reading and writing each day. Sometimes we write about a story that our teachers have read aloud. We are learning to do a picture walk before we read and think about what is happening in the story. We say to ourselves, "I think" or "I wonder". This thinking helps us to make connections and to predict words that we may see in the text. These are some of our favourite books that we have read so far at school. We have been reading a lot of books about feelings and how we treat each other. This has been a great way to introduce Self-regulation and has helped us to learn how to get along in a whole group setting.
